Three Stars of the Week 11/13-11/19
After missing a week, we are back to check in on the San Jose Sharks prospects.
Leo Sahlin Wallenius has been recalled to the SHL with the Växjö Lakers HC. He had been loaned to the Nybro Vikings in the HockeyAllsvenskan where he scored 1 goal and 5 assists in 14 games.
Brandon Svoboda remains out with an injury. He missed a week, returned for one game on Nov 11 and has been out since.
Third Star of the Week
Macklin Celebrini, San Jose Sharks
3 games, 1 goal, 0 assists, 12 SOG
Macklin Celebrini announced his arrival in the NHL with a game-winning goal in overtime against the Detroit Red Wings.
Ever since he and Will Smith have been paired together, both players have shown more flashes of what is to come. While the production has not arrived yet, the process is good, and Macklin Celebrini gives you a reason to watch every shift.
Second Star of the Week
Sam Dickinson, London Knights
3 games, 1 goal, 5 assists, 11 SOG
It has been a month since Sam Dickinson played a game and didn't register a point.
The offensive jump Dickinson has made this year is hard to fathom. Dickinson was always an excellent offensive player, but this is another level. He is 6th in total points (31) in the OHL and 5th in points per game (1.72). The questions with Dickinson will be about his decision-making, but right now, you have to just enjoy the ride.
First Star of the Week
Quentin Musty, Sudbury Wolves
2 games, 3 goals, 6 assists, 23 SOG
LOL.
Quentin Musty is back to destroying teenagers. After a bit of a slow start (as to be expected), Musty seems to have rounded into form and should continue to dominate.
On Friday, he gave a vintage (as vintage as you can get for a 19-year-old) performance with 6 points. Broke down his entire game here:
